Root vegetable washer is specially designed for root and tuber vegetables. Adopting multiple cleaning principles: brush friction, bubble tumbling and high-pressure spray, it can efficiently remove surface sediment, pesticide residues and skin impurities. Peeling module is optional to realize integrated washing and peeling. The equipment is suitable for cleaning and impurity removal of root and fruit vegetables such as potato, sweet potato, carrot, taro, onion, garlic, ginger, cassava, beetroot, radish, tomato, cucumber, pepper, pumpkin, etc. The whole machine is made of food-grade 304 stainless steel, equipped with circulating water filtration system, automatic sewage discharge and impurity separation device, water-saving and high-efficiency, which is an ideal equipment for pre-processing in prepared vegetable, starch, pickled vegetable factories and food industry.
1. The whole machine is made of high-quality SUS304 stainless steel, anti-corrosion and rust-proof, in line with food-grade hygiene standards, long service life and easy cleaning and maintenance.
2. Brush rollers adopt imported nylon wire/wear-resistant rubber composite material, providing flexible friction cleaning for hard tubers such as potatoes and sweet potatoes, effectively removing sediment and skin. Emery peeling roller is optional to realize peeling function, one machine for two purposes.
3. Bubble generator is installed at the lower part, matching with circulating water flow, providing gentle tumbling cleaning for delicate root vegetables such as tomatoes and cucumbers to avoid collision damage.
4. High-pressure spray pipeline at the upper part performs secondary washing on materials to wash away residual sediment and impurities; sedimentation zone and automatic blowdown valve are set at the bottom of the water tank for convenient sediment discharge.
5. Equipped with circulating water filtration system (multi-stage filter screen/hydrocyclone desander), automatically separating sediment and impurities after cleaning, realizing water recycling, saving more than 40% water.
6. For materials needing peeling such as garlic and onion, special peeling module and forced ventilation drying system are optional, completing cleaning and peeling at one time, increasing production efficiency by 50%.
Working Principle: After materials enter the washing tank, they are conveyed forward driven by rotating brush rollers. Friction between brushes and material surfaces loosens and falls off sediment; at the same time, the bottom bubble generator produces a large number of bubbles, providing flexible tumbling cleaning for fragile materials such as tomatoes and cucumbers; the upper spray pipe continuously sprays clean water for rinsing; heavy sediment sinks to the bottom of the tank for regular discharge, light floating objects are removed through the overflow port; for materials needing peeling such as potatoes and sweet potatoes, emery brush roller is optional to complete skin removal while cleaning, and finally clean and bright materials enter the next process.
