Turkey is a top global carrot producer. The Anatolian Plateau��s fertile soil produces bright, sweet, high-quality carrots. C****L is a leading fruit & vegetable processor in Konya, exporting to Europe and the Middle East. Strict EU standards for consistency and food safety made manual slicing obsolete.

Core Challenges of Manual Slicing:

Irregular shapes cause inconsistent slice thickness, hurting appearance and downstream processing.

Severe capacity bottlenecks: 40+ tons/day required 150 workers, with 45-day delivery times.

Thickness errors (��2mm) led to 8% rejection rate from EU buyers.

Solution: Fully Automatic Carrot Slicing System

Hadof designed a customized line for hard, irregular carrots with high-volume processing needs:

1. Automatic Washing, Grading & Orienting System

Rotary washer removes mud & impurities. AI vision grading sorts carrots by diameter. Orientation system stabilizes carrots for precise slicing.

2. High-Precision Thickness-Control Slicing Unit

Servo-driven rotary cutter slices 2�C12mm, tolerance ��0.3mm. Hardened stainless steel blades ensure smooth edges without breakage. Runs 8+ hours continuously.

3. Online Color Sorting & Foreign Material Removal

High-speed vision system removes blemished, green, worm-eaten slices with 99.5% accuracy. Qualified products auto-sort for freezing, drying or packaging.

4. Blanching, Cooling & Dewatering

Continuous blanching (95�C98��C, 60�C90s) inactivates enzymes. Rapid cooling & vibration dewatering ensure stable frozen quality for export.
