Brazil is the world’s largest sugarcane producer and exporter. S?o Paulo state accounts for over 60% of the national sugarcane output, known as the “World’s Sugar Bowl”. C***V Group is the largest agricultural processing enterprise in the region, processing millions of tons of sugarcane and corn annually, exporting to China, the Middle East and Europe. However, as international market requirements for agricultural product cleanliness become increasingly strict, traditional cleaning models are facing huge challenges:
Deep Mud in Sugarcane Joints: Sugarcane has concave joints where mud and residual leaves hide. Traditional spraying cannot reach them, and China Customs repeatedly detected mud, facing return risks.
Tangled Corn Silk: Dense corn silk is hard to remove completely, winding equipment during processing and causing downtime losses.
Sediment in Beet Grooves: Uneven beet surfaces trap mud, leading to EU customer complaints about “gritty beet soup”.
Difficult Long-Stem Conveying: Sugarcane is 2–3 meters long, cannot be continuously conveyed by traditional washers, with low efficiency and easy breakage.
Excess Surface Microbes: Hot and humid tropical farmlands lead to high mold and yeast on sugarcane, which cannot be killed by traditional cleaning, affecting juice quality.
The client’s requirements were clear: completely remove mud from sugarcane joints, zero corn silk residue, no mud in beet grooves, and adapt to continuous long-stem conveying.

Solution: 5 Customized Designs for Tropical Long-Stem Crops
1. Long-Stem Roller Cage + Spiral Conveying, Continuous Sugarcane Cleaning Without Breakage
Special long-stem roller washer (1.5m diameter, 8m length) for 2–3m sugarcane. Spiral advance creates rolling friction to remove large mud clods without breakage. Stepless speed (0–20m/min), daily capacity up to 300 tons.
2. Ultrasonic Cavitation + High-Pressure Fan Spraying, Zero Mud in Sugarcane Joints
40kHz ultrasonic cavitation shakes off hidden mud in joints. 12 groups of 10kg/cm2 high-pressure nozzles provide 360° washing. China Customs tested 100 sugarcane samples with 0 mud residue in joints.
3. Corn Directional Conveying + Silk Cutting, 100% Silk Removal Rate
Directional conveyor aligns corn tops. Laser sensor locates silk, high-speed cutter removes it smoothly without damage. 100% silk removal eliminates winding issues.
4. Vortex Roller Brush + Groove Polishing, Clean & Smooth Beet Surfaces
Vortex brush movement deeply cleans beet grooves. Polishing rollers improve smoothness by 60%, no mud left in grooves. 100% EU inspection pass rate.
5. Ozone + UV Combined Sterilization, 99.9% Microbe Killing Rate
1.0ppm ozone spraying + 254nm UV tunnel kills 99.9% mold & yeast in 30 seconds. Total colonies < 100CFU/mL after cleaning, meeting EU beverage raw material standards.
